A massive structural change was done for this 5 room resale executive apartment according to the client’s requirements.
The dining hall and kitchen were previously enclosed with walls and were hacked to create a open concept, allowing natural light in. A partition wall was erected in the balcony area to create a room for their helper.
Walls between master bedroom and adjacent bedroom were hacked to combine it into a massive master with bedroom, walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom. Outside the on-suite bathroom, 2 sinks were installed to mimic a hotel design look and feel. .
Vinyl was overlaid on the original flooring to give it an updated look at a cheaper cost. False ceiling was installed in living room to install modern linear lights while hiding electrical trunking.
In the kitchen, the client requested for an open concept with the flexibility to close it during heavy cooking or when the aircon is on. Folding glass windows and a swing door was installed to achieve this.
