Designed as a holiday home away from home, this 3 bedroom condo was originally dark with little natural or artificial lighting. The client requested for hacking and converted it into a minimalist Japanese design with a bright look and feel.
The entire layout of the home was converted to the client’s requests. Being Korean, they wanted the house layout to be more customised which ended up being quite different from a typical Singaporean home.
The open kitchen features a one-of-a-kind unique onyx open display area used to keep their glassware, providing a huge contrast of colour against the white backdrop.
A bedroom was torn down and converted into the dining hall. Slit doors were installed to bring in the Japanese inspired design.
The entire house was furnished with premium furniture sourced from Europe.
